The third term begins
The third term started last week, on September 1. After more than one month of vacation, the students are back to their regular studies. The teachers have returned as well, and they are all prepared to begin their lessons according to the syllabus. The syllabus is a list of topics and rationale that explains how to deliver the lesson to the students. The teachers have adjusted the topics covered to be a little bit shorter compared to the first and second terms. It is done so because of the many practices that are expected that the students will do to prepare them for the recognition and graduation program.
The Recognition Program is going to be in the last week of November. It is made to award the students with medals and certificates for their achievements and participation in the many programs and activities that the school has done during the course of the school year 2022. The graduation program is intended only for the Grade 6 students who will be moving on to the high school level by next year. It has been a tradition of the school to do these programs at the end of the school year. It is just this year that the recognition program will be restarted after 3 years of a pause caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
This third term is fast indeed, and the students are excited to know that the recognition program is back. It may be a sign of normality, although the pandemic is indeed still here.
